Rani Rampal belonged to very poor family. Her father was a cart Puller.
Due to interest in Hockey at the age of 9, she started training at Shahbad Hockey Academy, with the help of Baldev Singh(Coach).
She was the youngest player who played the World Cup 2010 held in Canada at the age of 15.
Rani got Arjuna Award(2016) for her outstanding performance in the sport.
