Jyothi Yarraji is an Indian track & field athlete who holds the national record in women’s 100m hurdles – 13.04s.
Although, she came into the limelight in 2015 after winning the gold medal at an Andhra Pradesh inter-district meet.
Apart from all these, She was denied national record twice for technical reasons.
In 2020, Jyothi Yarraji won the gold medal at the All India Inter-University Athletics Meet in Moodabidri, Karnataka with a time of 13.03 seconds.
In 2023, she has trained under Reliance Foundation Coach James Hillier with the country’s finest athletes.
On 10 May 2022, she won Indian national record for 100 m hurdles after breaking the long-standing record by Anuradha Biswal when she ran 13.23s .
