Somvir Rathee is an Indian professional wrestler who won two times national level gold medal.
Although, he started wrestling at a young age in Kharkhoda, Sonipat. Somvir is national level player who achievements’ including winning a bronze medal and two gold medals.
Apart from wrestling, he works with the Railways and is currently posted in Rajasthan, holding the position of TTE.
In 2011, Somvir met with wrestler Vinesh Phogat. Somvir & Vinesh worked together at the Indian railway. They date to each other for 7 years and then in 2018 they got married.
The couple came in limelight when they chose to make eight vows instead of the tradional seven, with the additional vow being “Beti Bachao, beti padhao, betikhilao“.
