Shalin Bhanot married Daljit Kaur in . Daljit Kau is actress who was part of Bigg Boss season 14. The couple tied the knot on…..In 2015, Daljit Kaur filed for divorce in Bombay High Court. Daljit alleged Shalin of physical assault and extramarital affair. Daljiet also alleged Shalin of dowry charges by Shalin and his family after their marriage. Daljiet in interview said “Shaleen physically assaulted me, my my in-laws stood as mute spectators. Shaleen caught my neck and banged my head on the wall and threw me on he furniture, and then locked me into a room for 40 minutes, until I was finally rescued by housemaid. I took the final decision to separate from my husband when he attacked me while I was holding our newborn son“.

Shaleen Bhanot responded to the allegations as false and baseless. Shaleen defended that he never raised his hand and never demanded for dowry. Shaleen’s statement was “She is a retired Army Officer’s daughter. So why would I marry someone who was not financially well off If I wanted dowry? I didn’t ask for a penny in dowry. I have never cheated on her and there is no physical abuse. I didn’t want to blame Dalljiet because that would spoil my son’s life. But now. I have to or else he will grow up grudging and hating me“.

In 2016, Bombay High Court verdicted in favor of Shaeen Bhanot and quashed the charges of physical assault and demand for dowry. Custody of the son Jaydon was handed over to Dalljiet Kaur. Shaeen was directed to pay ₹1 Lak per month to dalljiet for maitenance.

In 2004 he was one of the contestant in real life program “MTV Roadies“.
In 2008 he participate in reality show “Nach Baliye Season 4” with his wife Daljiet Kaur who is also a bollywood actress. For this show they were presented with a trophy & a cheque of Rs. 50 Lakhs by Shah Rukh Khan.
Shalin made his Film debut with movie “Pyare Mohan” which was released in 2006.
