CoA (Committee of Administrators) and BCCI (Board of Control of Cricket) in India has accepted Indian Cricket Team Skipper Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri’s (Team Coach) demand to hike pay for the team. New grades are formed for cricketers this year. Grade A, in which top cricketers are categorised, salary has been raised to Rs 7 crore from Rs 2 Crore. With this hike, Virat Kohli has become highest paid Indian Cricketer.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Skipper is also retained by team for whooping Rs 17 crore. He has been most expensive player in current IPL season. The reason is also clear – Red Hot form of Skipper.
If we see out of cricket, Brand value of newly married Skipper has also increased. According to reports, Brand value of Virat Kohli is Rs 936 Crore. If we talk in terms of growth then it is 56% higher as compared to last year.

According to new BCCI contract, earning of Virat Kohli would be Rs 24 Crore per year through IPL and International appearances. Presently Virat Kohli is endorsing big brands like Audi, MRF, Manyavar, Tissot, Boost, Puma, Colgate, Gionee and Vicks. As per Forbes sports money 2017, Virat has earned Rs 123 crore through advertisements.
