Amanjot Kaur is a talented Indian cricketer born on August 25, 2000, in Mohali, Punjab. She’s an all-rounder who plays for Punjab and Mumbai Indians in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Amanjot’s cricketing journey began at a young age, and she was trained by coach Nagesh Gupta.
Amanjot comes from a supportive family with her parents, Bhupinder Singh and Ranjeet Kaur, and siblings, Gurkirpal Singh and Kamaljot Kaur. She completed her schooling at APJ Smart School and Government Senior Secondary School, followed by graduation from Guru Gobind Singh College for Women in Chandigarh.
Amanjot made her international debut for India in January 2023 against South Africa, scoring 41 runs off 30 balls and winning the Player of the Match award. She also played in the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and the Asian Games. In the WPL, she was purchased by Mumbai Indians for INR 50 lakhs.
