Opal Suchata Chuangsri was crowned Miss World 2025 in a grand ceremony held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India.
Born and raised in Phuket, Thailand, Opal is currently pursuing a degree in international relations and works as a professional model.
She’s an advocate for breast cancer awareness, inspired by a personal experience where she discovered a lump in her breast at 16, which though non-cancerous, motivated her to become a voice for early detection and awareness in Thailand.
Her advocacy initiative, “Opal For HER,” focuses on education and empowerment for women, and her finale gown was designed as a tribute to this mission, symbolizing strength, beauty, and transformation.
Opal Suchata was crowned Miss World 2025 among 108 contestants from around the world competing for the crown.
She received the prestigious title from outgoing Miss World 2024, Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic.
The top four positions were Miss World 2025: Opal Suchata Chuangsri (Thailand), First Runner-up: Hasset Dereje Admassu (Ethiopia), Second Runner-up: Maja Klajda (Poland) & Fourth Position: Aurlie Joachim (Martinique).
