Suhas Yathiraj is an Indian para-badminton player who currently ranked World No. 1 in the Men’s Singles SL4 category & he is a silver medalist from the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
Apart from this, he is an IAS officer (2007 batch) from Uttar Pradesh cadre & has also served as the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar. He ha also served as the District Magistrate of Prayagraj.
He made his career as a winner at the 2016 Asian Para-Badminton Championships, where he secured the gold medal in Men’s Singles.
After this, he won a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Para Games.
Also, Suhas is recipient of Arjuna Award and a Paralympic medal.
Suhas got married to Ritu Suhas, who was selected as Mrs U.P in Mrs. India 2019 contest a PCS officer & she is currently posted as ADM (Administration) in Ghaziabad.
Moreover, he won silver medal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics & solidifying his place among the top para-badminton players globally.
